Overview:

We are in search of an experienced Backend Developer skilled in AI/Machine Learning to contribute to our growing team creating innovative Decentralized Applications (DApps) in the Health Tech domain. The ideal candidate is someone who immerses themselves deeply in understanding the vision and objectives of our DApps, merging this knowledge with their technical acumen to shape efficient backend systems and APIs.

Core Responsibilities:

• Dive into the goals of our DApps, playing an integral role in the technical design of backend architectures and APIs.
• Address and rectify bugs from user feedback, teammates, or personal discoveries.
• Script tests to validate implemented functionality and spearhead feature additions.
• Work harmoniously with team members to achieve collective objectives.
• Engage with our dynamic community of developers.
• Regularly update and refine technical documentation.
• Code for our DApps harnessing Java, Python, Go, Rust, Django, and AI/ML expertise.
• Detail clear objectives for product tests and oversee their thorough execution.
• Construct a collaborative framework pulling expertise from different departments.
• Assist fellow engineers in crafting practical solution demos and presenting to the team.
• Offer in-depth solution specifications, encompassing time and scope considerations.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in backend system creation, inclusive of APIs and databases.
• Familiarity with integrating wearable technology.
• Proven experience with AI/Machine Learning.
• Demonstrated project leadership and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML specialization, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Mastery over program software development, including mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Python; polyglot proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Go, JavaScript, Java, and Rust is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration.
• Deep understanding of Python frameworks (e.g., Django).
• Expertise in communication protocols like GRPC and in multi-process/multithreaded architectures.
• Experience juggling data from various sources, software testing tools, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with design and architectural frameworks.
• Stellar communication capabilities, with adaptability to teamwork or independent tasks.
• Comfort presenting to senior leaders and broad audiences.

• Insight into blockchain and the crypto landscape.
