Position Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Architect. In this role you will spearhead innovative blockchain initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in blockchain development and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a distributed blockchain-based network.

Responsibilities:

Design and Strategy:

• Develop and maintain the blockchain architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Research and recommend updates or new blockchain technologies and tools suitable for the project's goals.
• Collaborate with business units to transform requirements into blockchain solutions.

Implementation:

• Design, implement, and oversee the development of blockchain solutions, ensuring that design principles and standards are adhered to.
• Lead the development of smart contracts and assist with the integration of external systems with blockchain networks.

Testing & Optimization:

• Lead initiatives to evaluate the scalability and performance of blockchain networks and make necessary improvements.
• Ensure that solutions are effectively tested, and security is maintained at all layers.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other IT professionals, including software developers and systems analysts, to ensure smooth integration of blockchain platforms with other IT systems.
• Engage with stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that all designs and solutions align with company goals and customer needs.

Documentation & Training:

• Create clear and comprehensive documentation for blockchain architectures, designs, processes, and decision matrices.
• Train and mentor team members in blockchain development best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience working in blockchain development and architecture.
• Proficient in blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or other similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and data structures.
• Experience with smart contract development, ideally using languages such as Solidity or Chaincode.
• Knowledge of best practices in blockchain management and data protection.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and innovatively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Familiarity with decentralized applications (DApps) design and development.
• Experience with off-chain components such as Oracles.
• Previous work in industries or projects that have regulatory or compliance considerations.
