Overview:

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our client’s dynamic team. You will play a critical role in both the technical and management aspects of software development projects, bridge the gap between the intricate technical nature of software engineering and the strategic planning of project management, ensuring that software projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Steer a dedicated team of engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Engage proactively with the Product Management team, transforming designs into tangible technical documentation, requirements, and specifications.
• Dissect, document, and impart wisdom on design considerations and their trade-offs.
• Liaise with product leadership to devise clear and actionable roadmaps, encompassing project objectives, deliverables, expectations, and timelines.
• Contribute to our senior leadership's initiatives, which may include addressing technical challenges, orchestrating engineering initiatives, strategizing organizational designs, and sculpting the broader company vision.
• Uphold a high standard for the engineering team, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
• Offer insightful career guidance and performance evaluations to team members.
• Continuously refine team processes, emphasizing agile sprint management, effective task monitoring, and delivery accountability.

Essential Qualifications:

• A proven track record with 5+ years in software engineering management, having overseen the creation of robust products, preferably utilizing Go, Rust, or Typescript.
• Profound knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and architectural patterns.
• Outstanding leadership prowess with a knack for mentoring and inspiring team members, while maintaining an efficient delivery cadence.
• Established ability to juggle multiple projects, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, especially when under pressure.
• Stellar written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Expertise:

• An in-depth understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly the MEV supply chain.
• Hands-on experience spanning the Ethereum stack, including clients like Geth or Reth and smart contract programming.
• Prior contributions to open-source initiatives.
