Head of Engineering - Web3 Multiplayer Infrastructure (Solana) Startup

We are searching for an exceptional Head of Engineering with a deep technical understanding of Solana and DePin to lead our technical initiatives in this transformative field.

Position Overview:

As the Head of Engineering, you will be the driving force behind our technical deliverables, leveraging your expertise in Solana and DePin to spearhead the development of groundbreaking solutions. You will lead a talented team of engineers, take charge of product deliverables, and actively participate in coding and technical decision-making. This position is ideal for an experienced technical leader with a passion for Web3, XR, Gaming, Crypto or the metaverse. Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide visionary technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our engineering team. Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in technical execution.
• Solana Mastery: Utilize your deep understanding of Solana's blockchain architecture and ecosystem to architect and implement web3-based multiplayer solutions on Solana.
• DePin Integration: If you have DePin experience, leverage it to enhance the security and performance of our infrastructure. Collaborate with the team to integrate DePin solutions where applicable.
• Product Vision: Collaborate closely with the product team to translate the company's vision into technical strategies and product roadmaps. Ensure alignment between technical efforts and business objectives.
• Scalable Infrastructure: Collaborate on design and oversee the development of a scalable and robust infrastructure tailored for Solana-based multiplayer gaming and metaverse experiences. This includes addressing high concurrency, low-latency networking, and decentralized data management.
• Security and Privacy: Implement robust security and privacy measures within the Solana ecosystem, safeguarding user data and assets while maintaining platform integrity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leaders from other functional areas, including product management, design, and operations, to seamlessly integrate technical solutions with overarching business goals.
• Team Building: Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent with a focus on Solana and DePin expertise. Foster continuous learning and professional growth within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in technical leadership within web3, multiplayer gaming, or similar domains.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain technology and ecosystem.
• Proficiency in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and microservices.
• Strong communication skills for effectively conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications Skills

• Experience with DePin is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the Solana and its ecosystem.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior startup or fast-paced tech environment experience is a plus.
