Job Description
DApp360 Workforce is recruiting for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (React-Native) - Must love pets! The Engineering team is creating the next-generation platform for pet parents. As part of our team, your ideas, design, and code will make a real difference in the growing field of pet care technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
They are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to be a technical lead in creating the mobile application for our pet care platform and community. This role is focused on creating features and providing technical guidance for our multifaceted mobile application that brings together curated content, pet info, and services. The successful candidate will guide the technical architecture, and development model and work closely with our Product and UX Designers to deliver capabilities for an industry-defining mobile experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop software that connects businesses and customers
- Create and ensure components are written in the highest quality and well tested
- Interact with designers and product manager to determine best ways to implement features
- Work closely with fellow engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- 5+ years of mobile development experience
- 3+ years experience with React Native
- Experience creating consumer-facing production mobile applications using React Native
- Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs
- Experience evaluating performance and usability of mobile applications and driving improvements
- Experience evaluating and recommending tools and technologies
- Proficient in CSS and CSS pre-processing technologies
- Expertise using industry-standard methodologies (Github, Gitflow, CI, CD, etc)
- Passionate about building products
- Enjoy mentoring other software engineers
- Experience with Stripe integration with mobile apps is a plus
- Experience with mobile search patterns is a plus
- Experience building backend APIs in Ruby on Rails or Node.js is a plus
- Experience with UI Design Systems and component reuse is a plus
